Available Vehicle to Load capability enables bi-directional charging via the Integrated Charging Control Unit and the Vehicle Charging Management System, enabling the use of general household appliances (110V/220V) outdoors.

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) can assist with parking the vehicle. RSPA may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) interfere with sensor operation. RSPA will not assist in parallel parking and can only assist in moving the vehicle in a parking spot forwards and backwards. To operate RSPA, the operator must be outside of the vehicle but within a range of 12 feet of the vehicle. Always inspect the parking area with your own eyes for any potential hazards, dangers or safety issues. Operator remains responsible to stop the vehicle to avoid a collision or accident. Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the feature and ensuring that the parking area is free from obstacles, pedestrians, etc. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

 Never rely completely on Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) and be sure to use proper lane changing procedures. BCA is activated when the vehicle is travelling at least 60 km/h and when the turn signals are activated. BCA will not detect every object or vehicle and will not prevent accidents. The braking function may not always avoid a collision. There are limitations to the function, range, detection and clarity of the system. BCA is dependent on the side, distance, angle and relative speed difference between the vehicle and other vehicles and will not operate if sensors are obscured. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm clearance. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Blind View Monitor (BVM) assists the driver in changing lanes by providing a live view of the blind spots on either side of the vehicle and an audible alert if another vehicle is detected. Turn signal must be activated and other system limitations apply. Do not rely exclusively on BVM. It is the driver’s responsibility to be aware of surroundings and ensure they are clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner’s Manual for more information.

Forward Collision-avoidance Assist 2 (FCA 2) is designed to detect vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists that are directly in front of the vehicle. FCA will not detect all vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists or other objects. FCA will not work on winding or hilly roads, during certain weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog and any other times of limited visibility. FCA 2 initiates full braking at speeds between 10 and 75 km/h (vehicle detection), 10 and 65 km/h (pedestrian detection) or 10 and 65 km/h (cyclist detection). FCA 2 will not detect all vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists under certain conditions. See Owner’s Manual for detailed descriptions of example conditions in which FCA 2 may not detect a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist. FCA 2 is not a substitute for safe driving. Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2), when used in conjunction with Lane Following Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go, is for highway use only and can help keep the vehicle centred in its lane while maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. HDA 2 will reduce cruise control set speed as the vehicle approaches a curve in the highway. HDA 2 should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic or on winding or slippery roads. HDA 2 will not work under all circumstances and on all highways and will not prevent loss of control. Driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision. For HDA 2 to maintain the posted speed limit of a highway, the system must be set to the exact speed limit. Only select provincial and territorial highways will apply to this feature of the system. Driver remains at all times responsible for determining the correct speed limit and to abide by such speed limits, including in situations in which a speed limit may be altered, but such change in speed limit is not recognized by the navigation system, such as in the cases of reduced speeds in construction zones or where posted speed limits have been recently increased or decreased. Driver remains responsible for controlling the vehicle to avoid a collision or other accidents. Driver is responsible for maintaining the data of the navigation system up-to-date. HDA 2 will only fully function when the navigation map data is available for the section of highway that is being driven on. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Lane Following Assist (LFA) can help keep the vehicle centred in its lane only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. Lane Following Assist will not work under all circumstances and will not prevent loss of control. LFA is a supplemental assist, and does not replace the need for extreme care and attention by the driver. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Lane Keeping Assist operates when vehicle speed exceeds 60 km/h and only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road and detected by the system. It will not prevent loss of control. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (NSCC) is not a collision avoidance or warning device. NSCC is for highway use only and should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, or on winding or slippery roads. Acceleration after the vehicle comes to a complete stop will only occur when the vehicle has been stopped for less than three seconds. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

When the vehicle is parked, Safe Exit Warning (SEW) can alert occupants planning to exit the vehicle when a vehicle is approaching from behind. SEW does not prevent occupants from exiting. SEW may not detect every vehicle and may not avoid an accident. SEW is not a substitute for attentive operation of the vehicle. Always monitor the vehicle’s surroundings before any passengers exit the vehicle. SEW operates for approximately 3 minutes after ignition is turned off, unless doors are locked, at which time it turns off. See Owner’s Manual for important details and limitations.
