Forward Collision-avoidance Assist 2 includes a suite of high-tech preventive safety systems that consider the safety of the vehicle, oncoming vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
It also includes comprehensive monitoring and warning of potential collisions and assists in avoiding collisions.
Hardware includes: frontview camera, front radar, front corner radar and rear corner radar.
Vehicle systems will apply the brakes, if warranted.
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (NSCC)
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go helps drive at a certain speed according to the road conditions on highways by using road information from the navigation system. With Highway Curve Zone Auto Slowdown, if vehicle speed is high, function will temporarily decelerate your vehicle or limit acceleration to help you drive safely on a curve based on navigation information. It also uses Highway Set Speed Auto Change, which sets the based speed automatically depending on the speed limit information from the navigation.
Available Blind-spot View Monitor (BVM)
Blind-spot View Monitor displays the rear blind spot area of the vehicle in the cluster when the turn signal is turned on to help safely change lanes.

Lane Following Assist (LFA)
Using the frontview camera to detect lane markers on the road, this standard feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centred inside the lane.
Parking Collision-avoidance Assist (PCA) (forward/side/reverse)
The available Parking Collision-avoidance Assist warns the driver or assists with braking to help reduce the possibility of collision with a pedestrian or an object when backing up.
Rear Cross-traffic Collision-avoidance Assist (RCCA)
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, this standard system warns the driver if a vehicle approaches from either side. It can also apply the brakes automatically under certain conditions if no action is taken.
Rear Occupant Alert
A visual warning in the instrument cluster and audible alert are designed to remind you to check the rear seats before exiting. Available ultrasonic rear sensors continue monitoring the rear seats even when you exit the vehicle.
Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2)
The available Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 uses vehicle sensors to help the driver park and exit parking spaces remotely from outside the vehicle by controlling the steering wheel, vehicle speed and gearshifts.
Safe Exit Warning
When a vehicle approaching from behind in the adjacent lane is detected, this standard feature warns passengers with an audible alert to help prevent them from stepping out onto the road when it is dangerous.
Steering Wheel Haptic Feedback
Just like your phone, the haptic feedback system vibrates the steering wheel to warn the driver when the system indicates hazardous situations.
